After graduating from medical school, he finished his residency training in family medicine at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, Huntsville.
After relocating to middle Tennessee, Dr. Swauncy joined the staff at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna. In February 2006, he opened his first private practice, Signature Health and Wellness, in La Vergne, Tennessee.
Dr. Swauncy is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He’s an active member of the American Academy of Family Practice and the Tennessee Academy of Family Practice. He’s on staff at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna and Summit Medical Center in Nashville.
